Comfort Plan Terms and Conditions

The Comfort Plans cover the diagnosis and repair, replacement or adjustment, as determined necessary, of specified parts within your “heating unit” (if your plan includes a “Heating Protection Plan”) and “cooling unit” (if your plan includes a “Cooling Protection Plan”) subject to the exceptions noted below. For parts and services included in the Gold Heating/Cooling Protection Plans, coverage includes all labour and part replacement costs**, with some exceptions, up to the limits described below.

“Flushing of the heat exchanger” or “additional cleaning” required due to insufficient maintenance before joining any Comfort Club Savings Plan is excluded from coverage. In that instance, charges will be at our standard labour rate. Exclusions also include boiler system drainage and refills from any Comfort Club Plan.

A Heating Protection Plan includes an annual check-up and cleaning of your heating unit. The following is a complete list of parts covered under your Heating Protection Plan:

A Cooling Protection Plan includes an annual check-up and cleaning of your cooling unit. The following is a complete list of parts covered by your Cooling Protection Plan:

• Add-On Fan Centres

• Low & Hi Ambient Temperature Sensor

Comfort Plan member billing occurs either monthly or annually upon approval by our financial team. Your charges are due on the anniversary of your plan date for annual payments and the 15th of the month — or the nearest business day — for monthly. 

Should your account have a credit, you may not receive an invoice; however, they will resume once a balance incurs.

For your convenience, we accept various payment options, including:

• Cheque
• Money order
• Credit Card

For credit card payments, you must pay on-demand interest on all amounts owed (including interest), and if not paid when due, a rate equal to 2% per month (or 24% per annum), compounded monthly, will be added to your invoice. 

In addition, you will be charged $25 for any cheque that is returned unpaid by your bank or for any decline of credit card payment attempt.

In the case of larger HVAC systems and equipment purchases, Crowley Heating & Air Conditioning is pleased to offer financing through our partner, SNAP Financial.

Crowley Heating & Air Conditioning agreements have an auto-renewal policy and automatically renew unless you choose to cancel.

Your coverage under any Comfort Care plan will be in effect until written notice to the client or Crowley Heating & Air Conditioning. Such cancellation will be effective on the date written notice is received unless the party giving notice indicates otherwise within such notice.

You may cancel the agreement; however, you will remain liable to Crowley Heating & Air Conditioning for any outstanding amounts owing to your account. If cancelled, the customer will receive a pro-rated refund based on the regular charged amount of the service and materials received within the agreement's terms. 

If we choose to cancel the agreement, our liability will be restricted to a refund, if any, and the unexpired portion of any payments made. In addition, it will include completion of any repairs or parts placements covered by your plan for which you notified us up to the date of the agreement termination.
